Vassie Catalano

Principal & Artistic Director

Vassie’s professional career spans performance, choreography, and education. She has trained and worked at leading Melbourne dance schools, appeared in television commercials, programs, film clips, and print publications, and toured nationally as a dancer and choreographer for L’Oréal professional hair shows. Her extensive industry experience continues to inform her dynamic and contemporary approach to dance training.

Complementing her artistic background, Vassie holds a Bachelor of Media Studies and a Certificate IV in Human Resources, and spent over a decade in senior HR and management roles with Telstra’s Sensis. In 2001, she combined her corporate expertise with her passion for dance to establish Studio V, creating a school grounded in both artistic excellence and professional integrity.
